Do you take my insurance?
We accept most insurances, but it depends on whether you have a medical group and assigned PCP. The best way to confirm will be to show us a picture of your insurance card. If our doctor is your assigned PCP, we can see you for primary care.
How do I make Marc Ma Family Medicine my primary care office?
Call your health plan using the customer service phone number on the back of your insurance card. Simply tell them you would like to change your PCP to our doctor Dr Marc Hualong Ma. Medical group is Allied Pacific. Changes can take up to a month to become effective.
My medical group is not on your list. Can I still use my insurance?
You will need to change your medical group by calling your health plan. Tell them you would like to change your PCP to our doctor and let them know Allied Pacific IPA is the medical group. Changes can take a month to become effective.
What if I don't have insurance?
Not a problem! We offer self-pay rates of $90 for new patients and $60 for follow up patients.
What if I am coming late for the appointment?
If you arrive late to my office, we’ll check to see if there is an open appointment coming up. If not, you are welcome to wait and see if there is a “no show.” Or we’ll try to squeeze you in, but you need to wait.
Do you take a same day appointment?
We may have few spots available for the same day appointment. Call at 9:00am to request for a limited number of same day appointment time.
What If I don't speak English well?
Our doctor and staffs can speak fluent Chinese. If you speak other language other than English and Chinese, we have phone translator for you. Don’t worry.
